The Ultimate All You Need Makeup Kit (Drugstore & High-end)

Okay... So when it comes to being a beginner in makeup it is important that you understand the basics. I am going to share with you guys what I think you need as a beginner. EVERYTHING I am going to talk about can be found and purchased at Ulta Beauty!

Primer: For primer there are multiple options you could chose from. I personally use a oil and then a hydrating primer. There are also primer sprays and silicone based primers for people with larger pores. Here is an example of each one.

Eyebrows: You can you a pomade, pencil, or powder. I also set them with brow gel. There are clear and colored ones.

Foundation: You can use a liquid or a stick. I always use a liquid because it is more light weight.

Concealer: There are full coverage ones and more sheer ones.

Powder: I personally use a loose powder but there is also pressed powder.

Bronzer: I always use at LEAST three bronzers because I am extra but this is important so your face doesn't look flat.

Blush: I used to not really like blush but recently I have been really into it. It is just the perfect wash of color once you find the right shade for our skin-tone.

Highlight: This one can be tricky because it is all about what undertone your skin is. If you choose the wrong shade it can look like a streak on your face.

Setting Spray: This is another thing you need to lock your makeup in place and make it last all day.

Lips: I personally think for beginners lipgloss is the way to go but you could also use lipstick or liquid lipstick.
